ADG and its partners acquired the Peabody parcel at 34965 Woodward Avenue in downtown Birmingham, MI in the summer of 2016. Owned by the Peabody family for more than 75 years, the site represents one of the most notable parcels in the community. Over its history, the property operated as a gristmill, a market, and a restaurant that served as a long-standing and cherished gathering place in Birmingham for over three decades. The existing structure was demolished in 2016 to make way for a full-scale redevelopment of this prominent infill site, strategically located at a main-and-main intersection within a highly competitive commercial market.
